Ways for kids to make some money
While we are not suggesting forced child labour as found in many less fortunate countries around the world (getting the table cleared after dinner, or a room cleaned up sometimes requires prompting..), if a child expresses interest in making their own money to buy some special something they really want but don't want to wait for their birthday, Christmas or another gift-producing holiday, they may just have what it takes to bring in some extra household cash for themselves which in turn also reduces the burdon on household income in general.
If a child excels early at a sport or a particular academic subject, then tutoring may be an option. Babysitting courses are usually offered at around age 12 and soon thereafter that could be a way for teens to earn some spare cash close to home. From making money online, testing video games, doing light yardwork, fence painting, paper delivery... there are certainly opportunities for young entrepreneurs to gain experience and make some money at the same time.
Every day kids make money doing even enjoyable tasks in the field they enjoy such as modelling, singing, acting, sports, musical instrument lessons, dance competitions, playing in a band, writing, article writing,
